المعارضة تؤكد عدم شرعية الحكومة ومناوي يدعو لحكومة انتقالية لصياغة السودان من جديد
وكانت الهيئة العامة لقوى الإجماع الوطني قد رفعت لاجتماع رؤساء الأحزاب ورقة حول رؤية القوى السياسية لمرحلة ما بعد الانفصال، وأمن على بنودها الإحدى عشرة- جميع رؤساء الأحزاب بمن فيهم رئيس حزب الأمة الصادق المهدي. وجاء في حيثيات الورقة بأنه من الضروري إيجاد سلطة قومية انتقالية، وإيجاد ميثاق دستوري، وتهيئة الأوضاع لإقامة انتخابات عامة، وإلغاء القوانين المقيدة للحريات، ومعالجة قضايا الأزمة المعيشية، والحل العاجل لقضية دارفور، واستكمال الدعوة لمؤتمر دستوري لوضع الدستور الدائم للبلاد
ومن جهة ثانية، اعلن منى اركو مناوي رئيس حركة تحرير السودان ان الحل الوحيد لمتبقى للسودان هو ان يتنازل المؤتمر الوطني عن حكم البلاد، ويصبح حزبا مثل الاحزاب الاخرى لا يمثل الا نفسه، ثم تجلس الاحزاب والحركات المسلحة في طاولة واحدة لصياغة السودان من جديد. وأكد ان هذه الصياغة تقتضي قيام حكومة انتقالية تكون معنية بوضع الدستور الدائم الذي ينص فيه على حق تقرير المصير لكل شعوب متبقى السودان، مشيرا الى ان مشكلة دارفور هي مشكلة وحلها لايتم الا في اطار الحل الشامل لكل مشاكل البلاد
